Steve Jarvis, 50, originally from Anderson, Indiana, relocated to Davidson County with his parents. Steve was only 14 years old when he became a resident of this county, but knew at that age he wanted to make Davidson County his home.
Wendy (Beck), his wife of 31 years, and their two sons have been lifelong residents of Davidson County.
Steve has proven himself to be a successful business owner of 28 years as the Owner/President of Jarvis Construction, crediting his experience to working various jobs in the community after high school, and taking specific classes at DCCC to complete his General Contractors’ Unlimited License for Residential and Commercial Building in North & South Carolina. Steve is a graduate of the UNC School of Government's Advance Leadership Corps program and is a mentor with the Local Elected Leaders Academy. He also holds a Certification for Kitchen and Bath Design.
Steve’s experience in the development of property in the county through contracting new housing, renovations, and light commercial work since 1990, has built a reputation of integrity for commercial building, fine home construction, and home improvements. It is this reputation that has earned his company a record in good standing with the Home Builders Association and Better Business Bureau.
Steve is a person of faith and believes that God should take precedence over our lives.
