BIOGRAPHY

Ben Moss is both a small business owner and a career blue collar employee, having signed both the front and the back of paychecks over the last 20+ years. He is a husband and a father of two.

Ben Moss also serves as a state Representative in the North Carolina General Assembly, where he has a history of enacting policies that advance economic opportunity and prosperity for all North Carolinians while protecting individual freedoms and promoting personal responsibilities.

Moss has previously been Endorsed by Grass Roots NC and the National Rifle Association (NRA). Since elected, Ben has stood up against the Joe Biden & Roy Cooper agenda and opposed mask and vaccine mandates. Ben has fought hard against critical race theory indoctrination in schools, stopped all efforts by the Left to defund the police, and has continued to defend our 2nd Amendment rights and protect the unborn. An avid sportsman, Moss currently serves as Chairman of the NC House Committee on Wildlife Resources.

Ben Moss is a lifelong resident of Rockingham, and a graduate of Richmond Senior High School. In 2010, Moss was the first Republican elected to the Richmond County Board of Commissioners and held that seat for 3 terms up until his election to the NC House.

Moss was led into the political arena by his Christian faith and his innate drive to make our state the best place to live, work, and raise a family. His blue-collar experiences coupled with his last decade of public service have prepared him to cut through bureaucracy and make the government work better for the people.
